International SEOfor brands that sellin several markets

I help companies selling across several markets get found in Google and in AI answers — international SEO strategy, technical and content audits, AI-driven link acquisition, and the automations that make it run.

Several years of hands-on work across nine markets in healthcare, one of the hardest categories there is to rank in.

The short version

Multi-market SEO, run at scale, in a regulated category

Most SEO advice is written for a single market. The moment you sell in two, the problems change: hreflang that disagrees with your canonicals, a German site that is a thinner copy of the English one, and three sets of competitors who rank for words your translators never used.

I do that work daily — 21 web properties across nine countries, from 37-URL brand sites to 3,100-URL health portals, under weekly technical monitoring. Consumer health portals, HCP platforms and regulated brand sites, where YMYL scrutiny and medical review are part of every content decision.

The same rigour applies to AI answers. Rankings are no longer the whole picture: I measure whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews cite you, and what it takes to change that.

What I do

Four ways I help

Each one is a defined piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. No hourly rate card, no open-ended retainers you cannot exit.

🌍

International SEO

Market entry, hreflang and international architecture, localisation that ranks rather than translates, and per-market keyword and intent mapping across your whole portfolio.

International SEO consulting →
🔍

SEO & AI visibility audit

The productised audit: technical crawl, content and intent by market, an AI-answer visibility module run against six engines, link profile, and a prioritised 90-day roadmap.

Audit tiers & prices →
🔗

Link building & digital PR

Four to six earned placements a month on domains with real traffic. Every target justified before outreach starts, third-party fees passed through at cost, no link farms.

How the sprints work →

SEO automation

Fixed-price workflow builds in n8n and Make: crawl monitoring, content briefs, reporting, AI-visibility tracking and internal-link maintenance. Built for your stack, handed over with docs.

The five workflows →
Who this is for

Where I do my best work

Healthcare & regulated

Health brands expanding across countries

Clinic groups, telehealth, diagnostics, medical devices, supplement and skincare brands, health publishers. You need someone who already knows what medical review does to a content calendar and why YMYL pages fail differently.

CEE & export

Software and e-commerce going international

SaaS and DTC brands moving from one market into Germany, the UK, the Nordics or the US. Usually the first real international SEO decision you will make, and the expensive one to get wrong.

White label

Agencies needing an international specialist

Web studios, Shopify and localisation agencies, PR firms adding AI visibility to their offer. You keep the client relationship; I do the international SEO work behind it.

Where to start

Three starting points

Prices are the starting point for the scope described, quoted in EUR for international clients and in PLN or USD on request. Every engagement begins with a free 30-minute call.

Process

How an engagement runs

01
Stage 1

Discovery call

Thirty minutes, free. Your markets, your constraints, and an honest answer about whether I am the right person for it.

02
Stage 2

Audit

Fixed scope, fixed price. Technical, content and intent by market, AI visibility, links — ending in a prioritised roadmap.

03
Stage 3

Walkthrough

A recorded 60-minute session with your team so the roadmap survives contact with the people who have to build it.

04
Stage 4

Execution or advisory

Either I stay on to steer delivery, or you take the roadmap in-house and keep me for the decisions that are hard to reverse.

Not sure which one you need?

Send me your domain and the markets you care about. I will tell you where the problem actually is — before you buy anything.

FAQ

Questions worth asking first

Three things domestic SEO does not cover. Architecture: whether a market gets a subfolder, subdomain or country domain, and making hreflang, canonicals and the language switcher agree with each other. Parity: making sure the German site is not a thinner version of the English one, which is what usually caps rankings in a second market. Per-market intent: the same product is searched for with different words, by different buyers, against different competitors in each country. You get the person doing the analysis, not an account manager relaying it.
A Tier-1 audit covering one market and up to 500 URLs starts at €900. Tier 2, covering two or more markets including hreflang and international architecture, starts at €1,950. Advisory retainers start at €550 a month for four hours. Every quote is fixed before the work starts — no hourly rate card, no open-ended billing.
With a prompt set, not a guess. I run 50 to 100 buyer-intent prompts per market against ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini and Copilot, then record who gets cited, where you are absent, and which third-party sources the engines lean on. That produces two actionable things: a citability rewrite list for your top ten money pages, and a target list of the sources worth being present in.
I work in fixed weekly windows, async by default, with a 24-hour response policy on weekdays. Calls are scheduled in advance, in the evening Central European Time — which lands inside the working day for clients in the Americas. I take a small number of engagements at a time, and I will tell you before we start if your timeline does not fit mine.
Anything that conflicts with my employer: allergy immunotherapy, and companies competing with ALK-Abelló or serving them as vendors. That exclusion is written into my terms so both sides can point to it. Client data, tooling and accounts stay entirely separate from my day job, and all consulting work happens outside working hours.
Senior hands on the actual work, no account-management layer, roughly half the price of an agency retainer at the same seniority. The trade-off is capacity: I am not the right choice if you need a team to execute content or outreach at volume. In that case I am useful as the strategist who briefs and audits the team you already have.
