Rankings are no longer the whole picture. This audit measures both: where you stand in Google, and whether AI answer engines cite you at all when buyers ask about your category. It ends in a prioritised 90-day roadmap with an owner against every item — not a 200-page PDF nobody opens twice.
Five modules. Every audit includes all five; Tier 2 runs them per market and adds the international layer on top.
A full crawl in Screaming Frog, then indexation and canonical review, Core Web Vitals, structured data validation, and — where relevant — the international setup: hreflang, URL structure, geotargeting, language switcher, currency and content parity. The output is not a list of every error; it is the subset that is actually costing you traffic, ranked.
A keyword-by-market matrix, cannibalisation analysis, and gaps against three competitors per market. For health, finance and other YMYL categories this includes E-E-A-T and medical-review signals: who is credited as author, who reviewed the page, and whether any of that is machine-readable.
The module most audits still do not have. I run 50 to 100 buyer-intent prompts per market against ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini and Copilot, and record three things:
Profile health, a competitor link gap, and 20 to 40 realistic targets with an outreach angle written against each one. Realistic is the operative word: targets you could plausibly earn, not a list of domains sorted by authority score.
Everything above collapses into one prioritised 90-day plan — impact, effort and owner against every item — plus a Looker Studio dashboard wired to your data and a recorded 60-minute walkthrough for the team. Two rounds of follow-up questions are included for 30 days, because the questions only start once people read it.
It is not a tool export with a logo on it. Roughly 70 per cent of the work is judgement: deciding that your hreflang errors matter more than your Core Web Vitals this quarter, or that your real problem is content parity and nothing technical at all. Tools are an input to that, never a substitute.
Your markets, your commercial priorities, and what you have already tried. I ask for read access to Search Console and analytics, and the two or three competitors you actually worry about.
The five modules, run in order. You hear from me if I find something urgent — a noindex on a money page does not wait for the final document.
I present the findings and the roadmap to whoever has to act on them. The recording matters: the people who implement are rarely the people on the call.
Two rounds of follow-up included, so the document stays useful while your team works through it.
Read access to Google Search Console and your analytics, the list of markets and languages in scope, and two or three competitor names. If you have existing keyword research or a previous audit, send it — it shortens the work and lowers the price. Nothing else needs preparing.
Most clients take the roadmap in-house and keep a small advisory retainer so the hard-to-reverse decisions get a second opinion. Some ask me to steer delivery. There is no obligation either way, and nothing is held back to force a follow-on engagement — you own the deliverables outright.
The difference is market count, not depth. Both tiers run all five modules.
The starting price covers the scope described. Larger URL counts, more than three markets, or a site with no usable analytics history move the number up — and you will know the final figure before you commit to anything. Quotes hold for 30 days.
